Revitalizing Indonesian Mangroves through AI & Digital Technology

Fifty percent of the world’s mangroves have been lost and only seven percent left are under protection. By developing better technology enhanced systems of data gathering and analysis, we can learn rapidly, respond accurately, and share vital data to influence the preservation and restoration of this essential ecosystem.

Exponentially improving the operational efficiencies related to real-time monitoring and evaluation of mangroves to influence community level decision-making, local to global policy (model law), apply strategies for protection and restoration, and ultimately replicate strategies world-wide in other mangrove sites and environmentally significant areas.

Technology is essential to collect real-time data through integrated biophysical monitoring, analysis and improved speed of decision-making, development of interactive tools and outputs for educational media, and through education center equipment.
